TESO – Public Transport – Parking

How it works on Texel

Ferry service between ‘the other side’ and Texel?

TESO (Texels Own Steamboat Company) provides the crossing between Den Helder (‘the other side’) and Texel. The ferry service runs daily from early morning to late evening and departs every full hour from Texel and every half hour from Den Helder. The last ferry from Texel sails at 9:00 PM, from Den Helder the last ferry leaves at 9:30 PM. On busy days TESO deploys an extra ferry and a half-hourly service is sailed from both directions.

Do you make sure you are at the ferry well in time, so that you are not faced with any surprises? It is always advisable not to ride on the last ferry due to traffic congestion. delay on the way. The ticket purchased online or at the ferry is always a return ticket. You can throw this away or save it for the scrapbook. You will no longer need it on the way back.

More information about the timetable can be found on the TESO website. You can also buy an online ticket here.
